About Me
Born in Western Pennsylvania I have always wanted to be an educator; many of my heroes as a child were my teachers. In 2000 I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education. I was determined to share my passion for Science and to inspire students to explore Science and STEM careers. I spent several years as a middle school science teacher exploring Earth and Space Science, Basic Ecology, and the Scientific Method alongside my students.
In 2013 I completed the Masters program at Saint Joseph’s University earning a graduate degree in Instructional Technology. My studies included multimedia production, instructional design, technology planning, and alternative instruction I am exhilarated with the prospect of employing my experience, knowledge, and newly expanded skill sets to new wide range of professional challenges.
