Environmental Science Instructor (2010 – Present)
Conducted a needs analysis to generate and implement technology rich and standards aligned courses of study which supplemented the seventh and eighth grade Science curriculums. Developed and refined learning resources and activities that foster cooperative learning through technology mediated explorations of Environmental Science. Implemented multimedia and technology elements as a regular part of instruction. Created clear guidelines, performance standards, and timelines for the completion of assignments and projects.
and Talented Education (GATE) Support Instructor (2004 – Present)
Responsible for establishing, implementing, and coordinating modified instructional strategies and performance goals to meet the individual needs of gifted students in advanced and regular education classes. Conducted ongoing individual progress monitoring using a combination of standardized assessment scores, learning inventories, curriculum based assessments, and anecdotal information. Provided gifted students with access to ongoing enrichment opportunities; resources that supplemented established classroom curriculums. Managed the day to day production of televised morning announcements.
